Making cards for friends sounds like a good idea... except if they are artists too... then it takes longer, is a little anxiety-provoking and sometimes never comes to pass. Somehow, I find myself wanting to add every technique I know (and some I don't)... sewing paper, stamping, spraying on color, collaging... oh, it can get crazy.
I'm now trying to think in terms of making a "card" for a friend, not a masterpiece for an art exhibit. So after this card, you'll see that I'm becoming simple again, going back to my roots as a card-maker... lots of cardstock layers, center of interest and a color scheme. Whew...
