Home For The Holidays~Vintage Style Revisted 2011

Holiday home ornament - 7" tall... and yep,

that's a real film strip under the roof...  remember those?

This is by far one of my most favorite-ist Christmas designs

The mix of old Victorian images, sheet music

Absolutely gorgeous red green ribbon

and then....

Collage and paint on wood

Chipboard anyone...

.... and where would we be without

our manila tags?

Thank you for revisiting past art with me.

Happy, happy every day to all!

Charmed, I'm Sure...

First... Shrink Plastic Charms

Vintage-style and beaded

And then, the Domino Charm

Paper Shoes Anyone?

This was an amazing and challenging project.... scrapbook paper pattern pieces kept collapsing, creasing, tearing... and honestly, couldn't figure out the puzzle of assembling.  When it finally clicked, I couldn't stop embellishing, coloring, etc...

...vintage gold brocade..

...lined with vintage rose fabric..

You get the picture, right?

Vintage Style Plant Stakes - Otherwise Called "Housesicles"

House-shaped plant stakes

Very unusual idea for mixed media paper art

These are the ones I made:

 And the backs....

Little Vintage Dresses Deco

A deco is a little themed book (creater's choice) with a cover, several blank pages and a back cover telling by whom and for whom it was made.  Others sign up to do a page, hence the deco will travel the world to each signer who will add their art to their page.  When completed, it will be sent to the person it was made for.

This one will go to Finland.
